Terms of Service & Cancellations

Clear expectations. Thoughtful care. Every service. Version 2.0.

These terms apply to residential, deep-cleaning, commercial, and other cleaning services provided by Conscious Cleaning Company. Our goal is to care for your property with consistency, respect, and attention to detail.

01 Your Service Plan

Your approved estimate, checklist, or service plan defines your price, frequency, work areas, tasks, and agreed extras. These terms do not promise a single cleaning package for every client. A different arrangement expressly approved in writing by management and the client controls that specific issue.

Share priorities with management before your visit. Extra charges and material scope changes require your approval before work begins. If skipped visits or changed property conditions require more time, we will discuss options and pricing first.

02 Payments & Billing

Invoices are sent at the end of the month in which services were performed and are due upon receipt. A 20-calendar-day grace period from the invoice date allows time to arrange payment. Each invoice will identify the date the grace period ends.

After the grace period, a one-time 5% late fee automatically applies to the unpaid service balance, to the extent permitted by law. The fee does not compound or repeat monthly on the same overdue balance.

Please contact management with billing questions or payment concerns. If an overdue balance remains unresolved, management will communicate with you before pausing future visits.

03 Payment Options

ACH bank transfer is our preferred payment method. We also accept checks, Venmo, and credit cards. Automatic payments require separate authorization.

Eligible credit-card payments incur a 3% surcharge, subject to applicable law and card-network limits. Any surcharge will be disclosed before payment and itemized on the receipt. We do not add this surcharge to ACH, check, or Venmo payments. Any fees charged independently by your payment provider are separate. Estimates and invoices will identify applicable sales tax.

04 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice before the start of your scheduled arrival window to cancel or reschedule. Changes received with less notice incur a $50 cancellation fee. The same fee applies if our team arrives within the agreed window and cannot access your property.

Send changes directly to management using the company contact details provided with your booking or invoice. Notice is measured from receipt through that channel, not when management replies. Management will confirm cancellations and approve replacement appointments. Please do not rely on notifying an individual cleaner.

We understand emergencies happen. Only management may approve fee waivers or policy exceptions. If we initiate a change because of staffing, weather, or another disruption, we will notify you promptly and help arrange an alternative. No client cancellation fee applies.

05 Arrival Windows & Team Assignments

We provide a 30-minute arrival window for each visit. This is the expected arrival period, not a guaranteed completion time. If we expect to arrive outside it, we will contact you with an update. If the revised timing does not work for you, we will help reschedule without a cancellation fee.

We aim for consistent team assignments and welcome cleaner preferences, but a particular cleaner is not guaranteed. Recurring clients receive priority scheduling. Frequent last-minute changes may affect our ability to hold the same time. Management will discuss available options with you.

06 Service Boundaries & Safety Exclusions

Tasks outside your approved scope are not automatically included. Appliance interiors, cabinet and drawer interiors, laundry, dishes, linens, restocking, and other specialty tasks are performed only when agreed in your service plan. Deep-cleaning and other packages may have different checklists.

We do not perform mold remediation, pest treatment, hazardous cleanup involving needles, blood, or human or animal waste; move heavy furniture or appliances; climb on furniture; or work beyond safe reach with company-approved equipment.

Cleaning is not repair or restoration. Permanent stains, etching, corrosion, and other surface damage may remain. Construction debris removal and other specialty work must be expressly agreed in advance and remain subject to our safety limits.

07 Preparing Your Property & Working Safely

Light tidying is appreciated, but not required. Please provide working water and electricity, a safe indoor temperature, and reasonably clear access. Tell us about sensitivities, delicate surfaces, specialty finishes, loose fixtures, or items needing special handling. Secure pets who may be anxious, reactive, or likely to leave through an open door.

If we encounter an unsafe condition, we will stop work in the affected area and contact you. Service may be declined or discontinued for unsafe conditions, aggression, harassment, or other inappropriate behavior. We will not proceed with unsafe work or unapproved extra charges.

08 Keys, Access Codes & Privacy

Arrange a secure entry method with management and provide current access and alarm instructions. Keys and codes will be handled securely and shared only with personnel who need them to provide or manage service. Notify management promptly of changes. When service ends, we will coordinate key return and removal of access information no longer needed. We will notify you promptly of lost keys or access concerns and coordinate next steps.

Limited photos may document quality, pre-existing conditions, or service concerns. We will avoid photographing people, personal documents, and sensitive belongings. Service photos will not be used in advertising or posted publicly without your separate permission.

09 Satisfaction & Property Care

If an area within the agreed cleaning scope was missed, please contact management within 24 hours. We will gladly arrange a return visit at no additional charge to address it.

If our team notices or causes damage, we will notify management and the client promptly. Please report any damage concern as soon as reasonably possible, with photos when available, so we can investigate and discuss an appropriate resolution. The 24-hour cleaning touch-up window does not apply to property-damage reports.

10 Ending Recurring Service

You may end recurring service by notifying management through the company contact details provided with your booking or invoice. Identify any scheduled visits you wish to cancel. The 48-hour cancellation policy still applies to those visits. Completed services and applicable fees remain payable. We will confirm the final schedule and coordinate return of keys.

11 Time-Sensitive Services

For deadline-sensitive work, please provide accurate access times and any required completion deadline. Management must confirm that the schedule is feasible. A booking request or calendar entry alone does not guarantee a completion deadline.

Please promptly report schedule changes or conditions that could affect access. Management will coordinate changes with you. The cancellation policy applies unless a different arrangement is approved in writing. Your service plan defines responsibilities for linens, laundry, consumables, restocking, supply purchases, photos, and issue reporting.

12 Acceptance, Updates & Contact

Please review these terms and your approved service plan before confirming service. Acceptance may be recorded by signature, electronic acknowledgment, or written confirmation. The person booking must be authorized to arrange access and service for the property.

Future updates will be identified by version and effective date and communicated before they apply to your service. Posting an update does not retroactively change an accepted appointment. Material changes require your acknowledgment before applying to future service.
